About John

John Hemmingson is the chairman and founder of Lakeside Capital Group, LLC, a privately-held investment company focused on creating transformational impact in the Inland Northwest through investment in people, companies and communities.

Lakeside’s investment portfolio includes investments in aerospace, residential and commercial land development, home building, agriculture and more. Lakeside focuses on companies that have the potential for high quality job creation and strong regional economic impact. The Lakeside team provides both financial and human capital to these companies, helping to guide and support their growth.

An active community volunteer and philanthropist, John sits on many community boards. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Gonzaga University, and serves on their Investment, Development, Finance and Long-Term Planning Committees.

He serves as the Chairman and board member for the Spokane Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP).  He is also involved with the Boys & Girls Club, the Rypien Foundation and Mobius.

Along with his passion for philanthropic efforts, John is a strong supporter of advanced education programs. His extensive business experience includes start-ups, divestitures, mergers, public offerings and restructurings.

John earned his associates degree in Business Administration from National American University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program.

John currently resides in Liberty Lake, Washington.
